This just in:

I'm composing an original soundtrack for a documentary on marine ecosystems preservation, filmed in Austrialia and BC,

produced here in Vancouver by Roy Mulder. Stay tuned!

Hey everybody,

Just got back from LA a few days ago. I'm now an Ableton Certified Trainer! News will be forthcoming

Also, the release date is now set to April 17th for the release of "Saving the World", the first track of an album of material I'm

producing for the late Kenny MaClean of Platinum Blonde. Kenny died in 2008, leaving an unfinished album behind. I've

been hired to finish the project. It's going to be killer. Saving the World was recorded live with a string orchestra, and it's lyrics

are tremendously relevant to current world events.

Stay tuned :-)

Hey everybody,

Everybody who knows me is aware that I am somewhat fanatical in my devotion to Ableton Live.

It's a truly revolutionary software for music production and performance, and I've been using it for years.

As of next week, I'll be going to LA to become certified by Ableton as a company-sponsored trainer. I'll be using this to teach

workshops in the Vancouver area covering all aspects of Ableton usage, but with special emphasis on the subject of

integration with live instruments in performance environments.

Hey everybody,

Lots of awesome things happening lately. Haven't really been on the ball in terms of keeping everybody updated. More to

follow soon, but here's a brief tidbit:

Kenny MacLean, bassist for the multi-platinum band 80s band Platinum Blonde, died tragically in 2008, leaving an

unfinished album.

I've been contracted to go back through the original masters, add instrumentation, mix, and release the project as a tribute to

his memory.

Release is still a while off, but one track, entitled, "Saving The World", has been put on the front burner for release because of

relevancy of its lyrics to current world events in Japan and elsewhere.

Stay tuned.

..... after spending the last 2 years secluded in the rainforest of the sunshine coast, BC, working on various things at strait sound studios (www.straitsound.com) and playing excessive amounts of frisbee, i've now moved to the city and started a new phase in life. and, additionally, a new website.

currently, i'm studying advanced audio production at nimbus (www.nimbusrecording.com) in vancouver. it's a pretty wicked place,  ran by garth richardson (whose credits include red hot chili peppers and rage against the machine) and bob ezrin (pink floyd, aerosmith, U2).

i've got some pretty exciting projects lined up for the next few months. keep checking back.
